The Town of New Glasgow is very proud to be the host community and the home town sponsor of so many successful festivals and events as well as the Junior A Weeks Crushers. New Glasgow Marketing & Communications provides marketing, public relations and promotional support to festivals and events in varying degrees.

The Marketing & Communications department works with the Recreation department on the organization of the Mayor’s Teas during Canada Day and Festival of the Tartans and also provides marketing support for recreation events. The board members and volunteers of all of these events and more are to be congratulated and commended for their tremendous community contribution and talents.

The Marketing & Communications Department is also pleased to work with other town departments, such as Engineering, Police and Fire, and the New Glasgow Development Commission to create a Christmas theme in Downtown New Glasgow. This has grown into a major event, which has been successful in drawing hundreds of residents and visitors to the downtown shopping district.
